CLEAR talks VOCs and community engagement at Sustainable Detroit Forum

Researchers from CLEAR talked about their work at the 7th annual Sustainable Detroit Forum, organized by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Detroit Region, on November 6, 2023. The CLEAR team presented their work in two sessions, both in the morning and in the afternoon.

Dr. Brendan O'Leary (Postgraduate Trainee on Projects 1 and 2) and Dr. Carol Miller (CLEAR Co-Director, and Project 2 Co-Investigator) presented, "Neighborhood-scale sampling strategies and numerical models to understand subsurface environmental exposure pathways," at 10.45 am. Dr. Rahul Mitra (Research Translation Lead) and Dr. T. Lyke Thompson (Community Engagement Core Lead) shared their work on "Community-Centered Research for Environmental Health: Volatile Organic Chemicals in Detroit," at 2 pm. You can access their slides here.
